Digging Deep

I finished the last of my edits for Seeker Of Fate within the last week and now all that’s left to do is wait. Wait for my cover to be done, and wait for my editor to slash and burn my final draft 🙁 I hate waiting. It’s like being in that 9th month of pregnancy, where you just want it out after processing for so long! (Sorry guys)

So what’s a writer to do? Write another book, of course! Well, that’s what I planned on doing. Instead I did a little of this:

And then a little of this:

FINALLY, I started digging into the new project. It’s a paranormal romance series that I’ve been stewing over for the last 6mths. I’m totally excited about it despite my procrastination antics. It has to do with Greek Gods. The plan is to have each book as its own story, with its own characters. The general theme will be the only link, with maybe a few character crossovers here and there. We’ll see. It’s a seed right now that is slowly growing, but needs lots of sunshine and fertilization.

Speaking of fertilizing, I told you I finally started digging into the project, and I wasn’t lying. You may have heard that I’m a visual person who needs visual props and that’s exactly what I was doing — finding visual props for my new idea.

Heelloo Sunshine!

I know, tough work. I love my job 🙂

Want to help me research? No, no…I don’t mean find more pics for me. How about telling me what your favorite Greek Mythological tale is?

Have a great weekend everyone!

LMAO…LJ, when you said speaking of fertilizing I thought maybe you used your “downtime” for some Bom Chicka Wow Wow and got an egg fertilized. But I swear, it’s not at all because I have a dirty mind. 😉 As for Greek mythology…you had to pin me down to one? Then I guess it’s Eros & Psyche’s story. So romantic everything he was willing to give up for her…going against his own mother. Meddling mothers are a romantic reality to this day…right?

Hehehe…I knew you’d think that Kitt! See, we’re already connected that way! I just read their story. Love it! Cupid in Greek, actually Roman clothing. And yes, going against mom’s wishes is still so romantic in stories yet today. I’m keeping this one on my list or sure. Thanks!

Bah! Dirty minds think alike. Yeah, he’s the Greek god that the Romans later based Cupid on. I always felt Eros was a bit more of a badass. 😉

Hahah! I love when you “dig deep” cause that gives me the excuse to stop what I’m doing and scour Google Images. It really is hard work! SO many choices, SO little time.
I’m so excited you’re. Going this route. I don’t know much about the GG, so its definitely going ti be fun when you ask me for input!
