Excerpt From Made For Me (M4M)

So, it’s been awhile, AGAIN, since I’ve posted on the blog. I’m not even going to come up with any lame excuses because, well, they’re lame. Instead, I thought I’d give you another peek of Made For Me (M4M), the contemporary romance novel I’ve been working on.

It’s a glimpse of my sexy, alpha hero, Dax Beckett, which I like to picture as Jessie Pavelka for a nice visual.

Excerpt from Made For Me

The damage was done now. She was gone. Well, she was still here but not in the way he wanted her to be. He wanted her back in that bed, beneath him, moaning out his name like she was before. He’d fantasized about her for weeks now, but having her there, in all her glorious flesh, couldn’t even come close to his most erotic fantasy of her.

And he wanted more. He never thought he’d hear himself say that, but there was no question. He hadn’t had nearly enough of her. But that was all blown to hell now.

First time he doesn’t want to scare a woman away and he practically chases her out of the bed. Out of the bed. What kind of shit luck is that?

The kind that leaves you in the shower with blue balls, that’s the kind.

What he wouldn’t give to have her walk into the bathroom right now, naked, wet for him even before she got into the shower with him. Then she’d slide her hand down his chest, before grabbing…

The water suddenly turned ice cold. He let out an embarrassingly high-pitched yelp, along with a nasty curse, and jumped back from the spray. Riley must have used to the bathroom downstairs, causing him to lose hot water for a moment while the toilet flushed or she ran the sink.

Well, that took care of his problem. He didn’t really believe in karma, but damn, that was a tough argument for it. He deserved that, intentionally or not.

He got out of the shower wondering what he was going to say to her once he got downstairs. Normally, he wouldn’t say anything and that would be enough to drive the woman away for good, usually exactly the outcome he wanted. But not now. Not with her for some reason. With her he wanted the damn ‘more’ thing and it was driving him fucking nuts. He’d thought once he’d had her, his obsession with her would go away and he’d see her as he saw any other woman. But when they’d finished, it hadn’t been enough. Not by a long shot.

Another great excerpt, L.J. I know you’ve been working hard on this one. Poor Dax. He’s got it bad, LOL!
