Music Is My Crack

Music is my crack. I’m not ashamed. I don’t need help. In fact, I consider it my built-in therapy, self- motivator, mood-generator, and adrenaline-booster. I’m considering ear bud implants to make it easier on me since I use them everywhere: at the office, at home on my lap top, outside mowing the lawn, on my runs. Sometimes those wires are just too damn awkward! The only place I don’t use them is in my car, but that’s only because my phone hooks up to the stereo system (Thank you, Sync!).

I’m pretty eclectic. I can listen to anything from classical to heavy metal. A lot depends on what I’m writing. Lately, I’ve been on a country kick, because let’s face it, contemporary romance set in a small southern town and Godsmack don’t really mesh, although I might be able to work it out on some of the hot, steamy scenes. Hmmmmm…. I wonder how Whiskey Hangover would work with…

Anyway, I know you are all dying to know what I’ve been listening to lately, and I’m a giver like that, so here are some of my repeat songs:

Thomas Rhett – It Goes Like This

Sara Evans – A Little Bit Stronger

Luke Bryan – Play It Again

Rascal Flatts – Rewind

Dylan Scott – Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy

Eric Church – Give Me Back My Hometown

Thompson Square – If I Didn’t Have You

Some of these may be old, but they just fit.

So, what are you all listening to lately?
